WELCOME TO THE BLOOMBERG SCORES POETRY CONTEST

SCORES provides an outlet for youth voices to be heard. Our students, known as “poet-athletes”, submit their work through online quests. Our community voices their appreciation by commenting, rating, and responding with a poem of their own. In this time of separation, SCORES is committed to connecting our community of diverse and powerful voices.

So everyone can be heard.

READY TO CONNECT? LET’S GO!

  1. Click the link above to read, vote on, and comment on this weeks’ selection of poems.

  2. If you feel inspired to become a SCORES Poem-Pal and write a poem of your own in response, please do!

  3. Your commentary and poems will be reviewed by staff and forwarded to the poet-athletes.

  4. At the end of the school year, the votes for each poem will be tallied and a winner announced!

Always remember, what you have to say is important. We want to hear your voice.
