  • WHAT IS A POEM?
    A poem is a special way of writing to express feelings, paint pictures with your words, and share ideas. Poems often say a lot with just a few lines. Poems often use poetry tools like rhymes, rhythm, similes, metaphors, hyperbole, alliteration, and descriptive language using your 5 senses.

    POETRY CHALLENGE GUIDELINES:
    1) Your poems must be completely original. You may not use ChatGPT to help write your poem.
    2) Poems must have at least 8 lines
    3) You can submit up to 3 poems each month. Your first 3 poems will be considered for prizes.
